Re-brand Scomot is here to change the world of business research intelligence with a new web application. The company wanted a brand that reflected this – something that would both completely set it apart, and keep it connected to its parent companies.
The challenge
Scomot is based
in South Korea, and wanted to appeal to a global audience – overtaking its competitors by expanding its client list overseas. To achieve this goal, the brand had to be bold, simple and instantly recognisable.
We wanted to eschew typical corporate branding and create something with simplicity and fun at the heart.
The resulting identity comes to life with playful tones, using a blue base to create a soft brand spectrum.
Inspired by the angles and shapes of a motor – something that played a big part in the founder’s original idea for the brand – the logo evokes the clean, cyclical simplicity at the heart of Scomot.
